A really light and gloriously delicious cake, my version of a cake from America's Southern States and featured in "The Joy of Baking" by Irma S. Rombauer and Marion Rombauer Becker.
I've also recently enjoyed a girlfriend's recipe for chocolate and beetroot brownies, and they were just so good, soft and squidgy, and delicious. And entirely gluten-free with ground almonds and no flour. Really scrummy!
Good food - glorious eating!!!
